Friendships Grow Speed Coloring Video

Hi everyone! Brand Ambassador kel here to share a quick coloring video with you using the new Chibi release Friendships Grow. She comes as a Clear Stamp but I'm working with her as a digital stamp which is also available in the Stampers Delights store

She is just too adorable!! I have a speed coloring video to share with you today... I always struggle with colors but this time I started with the patterned paper I wanted to use which made it so much easier!

Here's the speed coloring video - it's sped up 4x so this image took me about 25 minutes to complete. And I always leave the reds and pinks for last because I find that they tend to bleed a bit more easily!!

And if it doesn't work, click here to see the video on

And here's the Copic colors I used for her:
Hair: E15, YR24, YR23, YR21
Skin: E21, E51, E50
Dress: RV23, RV21, R20
Boots: C7, C5, C3
Watering Can: YG17, YG13, YG01 (RV23, YR04 for flower)
Eyes: BG07, BG15, BG11

Thanks for joining me and see you again soon!

Fuchsia Fairy Step-By-Step Tutorial with kel

Hi everyone! Brand Ambassador kel here to share a super fun fairy tutorial with you using the new Chibi release Fuchsia Fairy. She comes as a Clear Stamp but I'm working with her as a digital stamp which is also available in the Stampers Delights store!

She is absolutely gorgeous!! And I knew I wanted to do something fun in purples with her wings!

Everyone has a different preference with coloring, but I like to start with the darkest color and then work my way to the lightest. So I started with V05 at her back and the "bottom" of each section of her wings.

And then I went with my next color, V02, and brought that purple out a little bit more to the tips of her wings.

Finally I went in with V01 and brought the color out to the tips of her wings.

And what fairy would be complete without glitter on her wings?!? I used a clear/iridescent glitter glue all over the top of her wings to finish them off!

Next I went in with BG18, BG15, and BG13 for her dress, and E44, E43, E42 for her hair.

Then I went in with YG15, YG13, and YG11 for the leaves and stems, again starting with the darkest (YG15) color in the veins of the leaves and then working my way to the tips and edges with the lighter greens.

Finally for her bell flowers (I have no idea what kind of flowers they actually are lol!) I went with BV04 and BV02.

I trimmed her down to 2-inches wide so it would fit in my tag punch. I was kind of bummed at first that I had to cut into the tips of her leaves and hair but it still works, and it definitely grew on me!!

I also punched another 2-inch scrap of cardstock in a matching purple color with the same tag punch to layer.

I added the tags to some super cute mushroom paper, fanning them out a little bit!!

Then I added some pretty purple organza ribbon across the bottom. I like to tie my bows separately and then stick them on top of thicker/wider ribbons so they don't get crumpled too much!

Once I had my bow tied, I stuck it down with a mini glue dot. And to finish off my card, I added the super cute sentiment to the tag!

Hope you enjoyed this walkthrough! Thanks for joining me and see you again soon!

New Chibi Clear Stamp Step-By-Step Tutorial - July 2021

Good evening, DT Vannessa here again and welcome to another of my step by step tutorials, using this month's new clear stamp releases from Stampers Delights.

For today's cards, I have made another interactive card using the adorable Chibi Friendship Grows clear stamp set which can be found in the Stampers Delights store here.

This set just had to have an element where the flower grew, so I used another of my slider dies to create this fun card.

To start off I cut all the card and patterned papers. For this one I also made a patterned paper piece using the flowers from the set, which I then coloured with my Copics. I have added these colours to the list at the end of the post.

Next I cut the elements needed for the slider mechanism. If you don't have a die that can be used for this type of card, you can cut the slot using a craft knife and the pull tab is just a T-shaped piece of card. The top of the T is folded to make a flat edge that the image can be attached to.

Next, I inked up the white card in a yellowy-green (It looks more yellow in the photo, but is a slightly softer green in real life).

I stamped, coloured and cut out one of the flowers from the pot, but cut the pot off it before attaching it to my slider piece. I made sure that it moved up and down easily, but if it doesn't then rubbing the card with some anti-static powder always helps.

When the flower is pulled up to the top of the slider part, you can see through the small die cut so I added a strip of the same green card as I used for the slider piece on my mount so it wouldn't show through.

I then covered the back with foam pads - I would usually use foam tape as it is quicker but have run out. You need to make sure that the slider tab can still move up and down freely without catching on any of the foam tape.

I also added a small piece of card here at the back of the slider to wrap around the pull tab so it didn't move out of position.

I then added the rest of my images from the set, which have all been stamp, coloured with copics and fussy cut out. For the purple flower, I used foam tape on the pot and leaf, but have not attached the actual flower as the slider flower needs to sit behind it. My girl was also popped up with foam pads.

To finish the card, I added all the layers of patterned papers and stamped the sentiment from the stamp set as well. This is the card with the slider flower down...

And this is the card with the flower pulled up. Doesn't it fir perfectly with this sentiment!

I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial. we would love to see your cards and projects in the Stampers Delights Facebook Group.

New Kawaii Clear Stamp Step-By-Step Tutorial - July 2021

Good evening everyone, DT Vannessa here and welcome to my Step-By-Step tutorial for today. For this project, I am using the newly released Kawaii Cute As A Bug Clear Stamp Set which you can find here in the Stampers Delights store.

When I first saw this cute stamp set, I knew I just had to make it look like the cute bug was flying over her flowers to water them, so I decide to make a slider card and here is my step-by-step photo tutorial to show you how I made this card.

First I cut my card base, mounts and patterned papers, along with the white card for the main image.

I inked up my sky using Distress Oxide Inks in Tumbled Glass and Broken China. I didn't need to ink the whole of the card as the bottom section will be covered with green card for the grass.

Using some grass border dies I cut, then inked just at the top, two grassy panels.

I cut out my slider section using a die, but you can also cut a rectangle or other shape using a craft knife if you do not have a die that could be used. You might find that a banner or other small rectangle die will work just as well as a specific slider die. Don't throw away the cut out piece as you will need that later on.

To make the actual spinner I find that the circle dies that come with the card don't tend to spin as well as 5p coins - you could use other small coins from those you have as long as they are smaller than the image attached to them. I also have some spinner pieces which join the coins together, but you can also use small foam pads to join them as well.

This is how the spinner fits on to the card - I just use glue dots to attach the coins to the spinner piece. I always roll it up and down a few times to check that it spins smoothly, but if it doesn't, I rub the edges of the card with my anti-static bag that I use when heat embossing. This removes any static from the mechanism.

Next I added the two grassy panels at the bottom of the sky, making sure all the left over white area was covered up.

Now to get the position of the slider section correct with the piece that was previously cut out, I tape down the square piece of card to the backing card with some washi tape. Then I glue the die cut piece in the hole so it is lined up perfectly.

Remove the washi tape and the white card and you can see the slider die cut piece is glued in the correct place.

Now I cover the whole of the back of the white card with foam pads or foam tape. (I have actually run out of tape, but have heaps of foam pads for some reason!). When you do this part, you need to make sure that the coins or spinner piece can still freely move and doesn't catch on any of the foam pads or tape. I find that 2 layers of foam tape or pads are usually enough to keep the spinner moving.

Now re-insert the spinner mechanism and stick the white card to the black mount.

Now to create the scene. I stamped and coloured my bug and the flowers in their pots before fussy cutting them all out. I decided to make her into a ladybug, so added some black dots to her hat. Doesn't she look adorable? (My Copics list is at the end of the tutorial).

Now it's time to put everything together. I started with the patterned papers using red and yellow mounted on black to match the colours used in the stamped images.

Next, I added the main image scene and the sentiment from the stamp set as well, checking that the spinner element still moves freely.

And it does...

I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial. We would love to see your slider cards in the Stampers Delights Facebook Group
